[KARACHI, PAKISTAN – 01.02.2026] – International Cargo Terminals (“ICT”) is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its operational footprint with its state-of-the-art facility in Northern Bypass, Karachi, Pakistan. This facility reinforces ICT’s commitment to providing high-quality, integrated transportation and terminal services within the region’s critical logistics corridors.
The Northern Bypass terminal is a purpose-built 7-acre facility, featuring a 22,000+ sq. ft. covered CFS, designed for high-volume throughput and secure weather-protected cargo handling. With an approximate 1,400-container parking capacity and 7,500 CBM indoor handling capacity, the terminal is engineered for efficient yard flows. Dedicated areas for cargo stuffing and de-stuffing, along with covered storage sheds, ensure cargo integrity across all handling stages.
Strategically located away from Karachi’s urban congestion zones, the Northern Bypass facility provides streamlined access to Karachi International Container Terminal (KICT), South Asia Pakistan Terminals (SAPT), and Karachi Gateway Terminal Limited (KGTL). This positioning shortens inland transfer times, reduces dwell, and supports smoother cargo flows for importers, exporters, and logistics partners.
“The expansion of our Northern Bypass terminal represents a significant milestone in strengthening ICT’s Karachi operations. By enhancing inland terminal capacity with direct operational access to Karachi’s port terminals, we are supporting smoother cargo flows, easing port-side congestion, and offering our customers a more flexible and efficient logistics solution beyond the waterfront, ” said Mr. Asim Saeed Khan, Managing Director ICT, Pakistan.
Operational features:
· Round-the-clock operations for both cargo delivery and receival.
· On-site weighbridge facility located within the terminal for streamlined processing.
· 24/7 comprehensive CCTV and security coverage for secure cargo handling
· Fully Pakistan Customs–bonded with dedicated on-site officers for efficient examination and clearance
ICT looks forward to leveraging the Northern Bypass terminal to further enhance service offerings, strengthen customer partnerships, and pursue new growth opportunities, while maintaining the high operational and safety standards that define its global operations.
